About me?
Wife of a fabulous husband of 24 years…
“MA” of 2 great sons, Josh and Sean…
Happy cat-owner of Rosco (no blog)
I’ve been a part of the Marilyn Hickey Ministries/worldchild team for 6 years, where now I am the Director of Web Communications. I work with 3 awesome web developer/designers and together this small team manages 4 websites and 4 blogs. (the blog number seems to increase every day!!) I’m excited to use my flair for creativity and love of writing in such a positive way.
BTW, my oldest son works here at the church as well, Josh is the Service/Production Coordinator for Catalyst Student Ministries and my younger son Sean leads worship as part of the Elevate worship team. We homeschooled through highschool and then the boys both left home for periods of time: Josh to Missouri and Sean to Colorado Springs. It’s so great all being here together now…!
My role here at the ministry is to develop innovative ways to use web communications to further our ministry and broaden our reach. With people like Marilyn & Sarah, it’s pretty easy. The hardest thing is picking through the myriad of what we “could” do and decide what we “should” do. But that’s the challenge and the fun of what I do. We’ve launched the worldchild companion blog: onegreenbracelet.org and that was awesome while they were in Ethiopia! That is going to be a powerful tool for Sarah and her vision to Take God’s Love, Power, and Word to today’s world.
So, that’s probably more than you wanted to know about me. I’m not an expert on anything, but I love coming up with new ideas and communicating them with others…then implementing those ideas well. I pray that I am doing that and blessing those around me as I do!!

Very nice blog. I love your brutal honesty about your feelings and fears, it reminds me of King David in the Psalms.
I would be so honored if you had a moment to check out our site and blog. If you feel comfortable, I would love to exchange links with you and add yours to our site.
Bless you.
to the King,
david
